The moment you arrive at Calamigos Ranch, it’s hard not to question whether or not this Malibu hills oasis has transported you directly into an actual fairy tale.
Adjoa and Aaron’s first look took full advantage of this, bringing smiles, tears, gasps, and cheers from their entire wedding party.
Guests were led to The Pavillion at North Point, an enchanting clearing surrounded by steadfast oak trees cascading with magical twinkle lights. It was a truly heartfelt ceremony with vows that didn’t allow for a dry eye in the house.
As guests enjoyed a fabulous cocktail hour, fully equipped with a world class Boba Bar(!), the wedding party had a blast taking formals; partly because they really like each other and partly because of the GIANT FERRIS WHEEL!
A bit off topic, but can I just say that these two wonderful souls met through an ALGORITHM of mutual friends on Facebook? How wonderful is that? Love is love. Anyway, back to the night…
The reception encapsulated a relationship that Adjoa so eloquently put as being “built on love, appreciation, and friendship.” The outpouring of gratitude from guests included a beautiful song dedicated from Adjoa’s mom, incredibly heartfelt speeches, and epic (and I mean epic) dance moves. This Calamigos Ranch Wedding undoubtedly proves that the most important things in life are friends, family, and love.
